Sartomer Americas, a business unit of Arkema Inc., has named John Erbeck senior account manager. In his new role, Erbeck will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales plan for Sartomer and marketing Sartomer’s industry-leading specialty chemicals to formulators in New England, Michigan and Canada. He will report directly to Chris Petrangeli, Americas sales manager.
Erbeck joins Sartomer with more than 25 years of marketing, sales and business development experience in the coatings, plastics and graphics arts markets. He began his career with Sun Chemical Corporation, where he held technical service and sales roles in the general printing ink division. Erbeck gained much of his experience from holding management and business development roles for companies including MD-Both Industries (Chicago) and Wolstenholme International (Chicago). Most recently, he served as product line manager, business development and marketing manager for Emerald Performance Materials.
“John has proven his ability to meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining excellent customer relationships – a perfect fit for Sartomer,” said Petrangeli. “His experience will help deliver our innovative, high-performance acrylate and methacrylate chemistries to formulators in new markets.”
