Sherwin-Williams announced, through its General Industrial division, the addition of Kiki Redhead as color and trend lead for Industrial Coatings. She will be based at the Sherwin-Williams General Industrial Headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota, leading color strategy, development and trend forecasting.
In her new role, Redhead will be responsible for leading color workshops as well as Color and Trend initiatives for industrial design segments such as appliance, electronics, building products and general finishes. She’ll also lead the development of a new industrial design center, scheduled to open in late 2018. The center will host customers from around the world as they select new coatings and finish options.
Redhead’s work has impacted products from consumer goods to cars, cabinets, coatings, clothing, and cosmetics. She has previous experience with Sherwin-Williams, Time Inc. SPC, and Polaris Industries. In 2008, she opened Colour Couture, a consultancy that has since coached 35 cross- industry clients from over 12 countries in the areas of color, material, finish, and future trends.
