A GoPro video of the UV cured powder coating process for MDF, Medium Density Fiberboard wood. This video was shot by running a GoPro camera through a MDF powder coating line that utilizes ultra-violet (UV) light to instantly cure the coating. The total process time from start to finish is only 20 minutes and uses a minimal amount of heat, crucial for heat sensitive substrates like wood. Powder coating is an environmentally friendly finishing solution, containing no VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) or HAPs (Hazardous Air Pollutants).
