A GoPro video of the UV cured powder coating process for MDF, Medium Density Fiberboard wood. This video was shot by running a GoPro camera through a MDF powder coating line that utilizes ultra-violet (UV) light to instantly cure the coating. The total process time from start to finish is only 20 minutes and uses a minimal amount of heat, crucial for heat sensitive substrates like wood.
 
Powder coating is an environmentally friendly finishing solution, containing no VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) or HAPs (Hazardous Air Pollutants). It is non-toxic, solvent free and water free and offers significant energy savings compared to other finishing technologies.
