Company Description
Engineered Polymer Solutions (EPS) EPS produces high-value and highly differentiated resins and colorants, specifically designed for our customers who develop innovative construction, industrial and architectural sustainable coatings solutions.
Technical Mission
We supply the building blocks our customers use to formulate successful coatings that meet performance and environmental standards.
Formulating with specialty chemicals can be a complex and lengthy process. Using a personalized approach, EPS maintains close customer partnerships to expedite product development and deliver differentiated high value-added technology.
We have decades of exterior exposure data, with test fences in Florida evaluating exposure to UV light and hot, humid climates; in Illinois assessing reactions to multiple freeze-thaw cycles and hot, humid environments; and in California measuring durability to hot, dry areas and UV exposure, as well as dirt pickup resistance.

Major Products
EPS® 2786
Self-crosslinking all-acrylic film-forming polymer that is an exceptional choice for high-performance gloss interior and exterior architectural DIY or professional paints. EPS® 2786 is a versatile polymer recommended for use in semi-gloss to high gloss enamels that require exceptional hardness and tack resistance in both white/pastel bases and fully tinted clear/neutral bases. Ideal for institutional, commercial, or other high-traffic areas. EPS® 2786 is formulated without the use of intentionally added fluorosurfactants.
EPS® 2252
High solids acrylic emulsion designed to adhere to low energy substrates commonly used in roofing. Basecoats and primers based on EPS 2252 offer outstanding adhesion to thermoplastic olefin (TPO) and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber. EPS 2252 provides the capability to formulate coatings at <50g/L VOC.
EPS® 2157
All-acrylic resin for protective films for appliances, doors, glass, and other protective masking applications. EPS® 2157 distinguishes itself by offering a “soft” peel as compared to other products with equivalent peel and tack that have a harder “zip-like” peel.
EPS® 2580
Self-crosslinking, styrenated acrylic emulsion offering excellent gloss, corrosion, and chemical resistance, as well as early water resistance and rapid hardness development. EPS 2580 provides the capability to formulate coatings at <50g/L VOC.
EPS® 2799
Self-crosslinking all-acrylic film-forming polymer for high-performance gloss interior and exterior architectural DIY or professional paints. EPS 2799 is a versatile polymer that offers exceptional hardness and tack resistance. Ideal for institutional, commercial, or other high traffic areas wall coatings.
NovoColor SF
Waterborne dispersions designed for the tinting of waterborne coatings and stains, especially wood stains and other applications where a high degree of transparency of color is desired.
