Behr paint and local painting professionals are giving back to neighborhoods in need this holiday season with the introduction of Painting for Good. People across the country and invited to nominate a building in their city, such as a worn-down school building, an aging community center or the home of a hardworking veteran that could benefit from a fresh coat of paint.
"Sometimes a simple paint job has the power to reinvigorate the spaces we most enjoy and we want to take advantage of our resources to help places in need," said Kelly Kambs, SVP of Professional Products & Services for Masco Coatings Group. "Through Painting for Good, our team and local painting professionals will use the latest architectural-grade products and colors from BEHR to give these meaningful places new, colorful life."
To nominate a weathered home or building, people are invited to visit BEHR.com/Consumer/Painting-For-Good now through Monday, Jan. 11, and tell Behr paint why a new coat of paint could make a difference for their community, and then share the nomination on social media using the hashtag #PaintingForGood.
This winter, Behr paint will select two places in need partnering with local painting professionals in those neighborhoods to refresh the space.
