Thomas S. Andersen was named Technical Director of Eagle Systems, Inc., a U.S. based developer and manufacturer of foil enhancement equipment, the company announced.
The Danish-born Andersen will head up Eagle’s sales and marketing efforts in the U.K. via his company, AeTee Group Limited.
“The European printing community is increasingly seeking out that technological differentiator that will not only inspire greater awareness and reach, but also give them a decisive service edge in very competitive markets,”he said. “We believe that innovation is hot and cold foil printing.”
After serving in the Danish Airforce for two years, Thomas began his career as a trainee at EACgraphics. He joined the Copenhagen division as a sales representative marketing, amongst many other products, Heidelberg, Polar, Stahl, and Muller-Martini solutions.
In 1994, Andersen moved to Bombay to work for EACgraphics India – first in a sales role. He was later promoted to North India Regional Sales Manager before setting up a new after-sales team in Chennai, India.
Andersen relocated to the Philippines after Heidelberg bought EACgraphics in 1998. He worked as AGM for prepress and consumable sales.
Two years later, he moved to the U.K. to become Brandtjen & Kluge, Inc,’s international sales manager.
