Sandra Meijer, director of product stewardship at Yordas, is leading the ‘REACH Compliance for Downstream Users’ course which takes place in Brussels, Belgium on March 1, 2018 as part of Chemical Watch’s’ training program.
The course has been specifically designed to meet the needs of downstream users and will cover all roles and activities companies may undertake, including sourcing raw material, chemical mixtures, sub component; the use of chemical mixtures in manufacturing process; research and development; and the sale and distribution of articles.
Sandra has extensive knowledge on how chemical regulations impact on supply chains meaning she is uniquely placed to deliver this bespoke REACH training for industry. Over the last 8 years she has built up the Product Stewardship services packages at Yordas and has been involved in the development of their regulatory compliance software, Chemtrac.
Chemtrac offers a unique package of in-depth expertise, high quality current data, and intuitive software tools to support industry with chemicals compliance management. It allows you to track, monitor, manage and control the compliance of your chemicals and products, enabling you to prioritize and focus your resource, and maintain your security of supply.
Chemicals regulations around the world are continually expanding and changing, posing a significant challenge for industry. Effective Product Stewardship in your supply chain is essential to satisfy your customers’ demands and to comply with regulations such as EU REACH; international variants like K- REACH, Taiwan TCSCA and China REACH; US Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA); EU Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR); EU Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for Chemical Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP); and the US OSHA Hazard Communication 2012, among others.
Yordas has successfully supported manufacturers and their suppliers globally in the reprographics, automotive, aerospace, electronics and consumer products sectors for many years.
