Businesses from the paint and coatings industry worldwide will gather from March 19-21 2019 for next year’s edition of the European Coatings Show.
This exhibition, which drew 1,135 exhibitors and more than 30,000 trade visitors to its last edition, will once again turn the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg into the international dialogue platform for the industry.
Extending to eight halls for the first time in 2019, it will offer experts, decision-makers and visionaries even more space to share ideas with fellow professionals. By expanding the venue, the organizers are responding to strong demand from the exhibiting companies, whose presentations include raw materials for paint, coating, sealant and adhesive manufacture, laboratory and manufacturing equipment, testing and measuring devices, and the associated services. The European Coatings Show Conference will bring professional players together just ahead of the main show, on March. 18-19.
Increasing demands on paints and coatings are setting the trends that will be discussed at the European Coatings Show 2019. Ultimately, both the industry and consumers are increasingly demanding coating products that are not only reliable and visually appealing but also score by being functional and environmentally friendly.
Trends and innovations now in eight exhibition halls
Technologies like UV and UV-LED curing and sustainable formulations, known as green coatings, therefore represent a growth market. Many exhibitors at the European Coatings Show serve this market segment with innovative components for water-based paints and low-VOC formulations, organic-based materials and sustainable raw materials. Suppliers of raw materials for paints, printing inks and adhesives, and intermediate products for construction chemistry and the associated services will have their wares on display in six exhibition halls in 2019. Two more halls will bring together laboratory and production facilities, testing and measuring devices, and the fields of environmental protection and industrial safety.

Experts also meet at the European Coatings Show Conference
Prominent experts from the worlds of science and the economy will meet at the European Coatings Show Conference just ahead of the actual show, on 18-19 March 2019. The Congress, to be held in English, will give them the chance to learn about the latest research insights and discoveries by leading R&D departments. Pre-conference tutorials on 17 March will give participants an opportunity to refresh and expand their subject-area knowledge, to ensure they are best prepared for the conference itself.
