With the signature of a new agreement last January, Arkema and ‘Sport dans la Ville’ (Sport in the City) renewed their joint commitment to the professional integration of young women from priority neighborhoods through the support of the ‘L dans la Ville’ program.
The two partners have joined forces through a shared desire to help young women supported by the Association to break down workplace stereotypes and build up their confidence both in themselves and in the future.
A leader in specialty materials with a proven commitment to the world of sport, Arkema is working to develop the appeal of careers in industry for women and to help them discover the wealth of professions within the Group.
Initiatives involving young women from northern France, Ile-de-France and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes are opening up the field of possibilities for their professional future. This is reflected in the ‘Industri’Elles’ project which has enabled young women in the program to learn more about professions in industry, heighten their curiosity, and enhance the attractiveness of this sector for women.
