BASF recently donated $5,000 to True to Life Ministries in support of the agency’s Student Services program in Brazoria County. True to Life Ministries is a nonprofit organization committed to helping students and adults transition out of poverty and move toward self-sufficiency.
In Brazoria County, 52 percent of students are at risk of not graduating high school. True to Life and BASF aim to change that percentage.
The Student Services program allows True to Life Ministries to provide high school students the resources and support needed to create a life change. Students are supported through mentoring, counseling, career training and much more.
“We remain dedicated to Brazoria County and encouraged by True Life Ministries efforts to provide our high school students with much needed academic and career coaching and support,” said Christopher Witte, Senior Vice President and Freeport Site Manager.
“We are so grateful for BASF’s support,” said Christopher Ballew, Development Coordinator. “BASF has supported True to Life’s programs in different ways throughout the years. This donation is just another reflection of BASF’s commitment to bettering our community. Together, we are keeping hope alive in the Brazoria County area.”
