As part of its annual donations and support for the Chattanooga area, BASF donated a total of $20,000 to 15 community organizations last year.
With most of the donations occurring around the holidays, BASF contributed $5,000 to United Way, $2,000 to the Chattanooga Police Department, and $1,000 each to these 13 organizations:
BASF’s Chattanooga facilities produce a wide range of high-quality polymer dispersions with safety, sustainability and innovation as top priorities. With operations in Chattanooga and Sparta, BASF employs approximately 300 people in Tennessee and invests nearly $23 million in the state through annual payroll, purchases, taxes and charitable contributions.
