The Portland/Eugene Chapter of the PNWSCT will be hosting the 2022 Northwest Coatings Fest, to be held in Sunriver, OR (near Bend) on Oct. 19-21, 2022. The symposium and accommodations are located at Sunriver Resort, a high desert location in central Oregon.
The heart of CoatingsFest is the technical program, which runs from the morning of Thursday, Oct. 20 through Friday, Oct. 21. A series of speakers are being hand-picked to present a variety of topics relevant to our industry today.
Short Courses will be available Thursday, Oct. 20 and Friday, Oct. 21. Thursday’s short course will be “Introduction To Coating Formulation” presented by Ray Fernando of Cal Poly, Devin Busse of Specialty Polymers, and Byk (speaker to be announced). Friday’s short course will be “In Depth Rheology and Surfactant” presented by Sam Morell.
In addition, on Wednesday, Oct. 19, there will be a golf tournament held at the Meadows, Sunriver. Fees include green fees, power cart, practice balls, and lunch. For further information, contact Eric Jenkins at (503) 716-0622. The opening night social will be held Wednesday, Oct. 19 at the Sunriver campus. This casual event includes dinner, beverages, and entertainment. The traditional Banquet completes the calendar of social events on Thursday, Oct 20.
