Arxada AG issued its first sustainability report, The Power of Science and Sustainability. As it continues to champion its purpose of better science to solve the world’s toughest preservation challenges, Arxada is driving an industry transition to cleaner, greener solutions. Arxada’s inaugural sustainability report reinforces the company’s commitment to building a sustainable future, highlights progress made to date and establishes important metrics and initiatives that will contribute to its long-term success. Arxada manufactures a broad range of innovative products that address the growing need for more sustainable protection of human health and wellbeing, infrastructure and our planet.
“From day one, Arxada has demonstrated a proactive focus on sustainability,” said Marc Doyle, CEO, Arxada. “Reducing our environmental impact during both our foundation and early growth stage has been and continues to be an essential priority. To this point, Arxada has made several notable investments and sharpened its sustainability strategy, helping our customers adapt to long-term environmental and social change by developing greener solutions, while actively decreasing our collective environmental footprint.”

The sustainability report is centered around three strategic pillars which are outlined below:
• Planet – Operating eco-efficiently and with respect for natural resources. Arxada submitted targets to the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for validation in 2023, establishing a net zero goal by 2050. Moreover, the company leverages its manufacturing process technology expertise to deliver more efficient processes for key chemistries, focusing on resource efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
• Preservation – Through its products and solutions, Arxada is working to protect the health and wellbeing of people and improve the longevity of infrastructure and materials to preserve the health of the planet. Arxada is dedicated to continuously upgrading the sustainability of its products throughout their lifecycle and developing newer, more environmentally friendly technologies in line with global regulatory requirements and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This effort includes being mindful of the materials used and how they are sourced and using science to advance sustainability.
• People – Working to create a culture of inclusivity for all through programs, benefits and structures that not only support employees to thrive and grow, but enable Arxada, through its people, to have a positive impact in local communities.
