On Sept. 2, 2024, MIPA SE welcomed 22 new trainees at its Essenbach headquarters, who are starting their careers in 12 different training fields. Three more apprentices also started their training at Mipa Direkt GmbH.
The first day for the new trainees was all about getting to know each other: the new recruits were given the opportunity to explore the company headquarters in Essenbach. The program included company tours, informative presentations and practical painting demonstrations. At the subsequent lunch with the trainers, the new trainees and their families had the opportunity to get to know the company better in a relaxed atmosphere.
In the first week of training, the new trainees will also take part in the “trainee days,” which include a rally through the various departments. After these intensive introductory events, the new recruits then get to know their workplace and their new colleagues better.
MIPA is currently training a total of around 50 apprentices in various professional fields. The broad training program ranges from commercial and industry-specific training to general technical professions.
Training has been a high priority at MIPA SE for many years. The career opportunities after successful completion are excellent, especially in an international context, as the Mipa Group produces at seven other locations in Germany and Europe and has 60 other locations in Europe alone for the sale of Mipa products. Nevertheless, it is above all the proximity to home that makes MIPA in the Landshut area an attractive training company and employer.
The application phase for an apprenticeship starting in September 2025 is now open and applications can be submitted at www.mipa-paints.com/karriere.
