The Mipa Group is expanding its sales network in Austria and is taking over the business of Wildschek Lacke & Farben GmbH, headquartered in Münchendorf near Vienna, with effect from Feb.1, 2025.
The traditional Wildschek paint factory has been manufacturing in Vienna since 1948 and moved to its current headquarters in 2023. The company employs approximately 50 people at all locations.
The Mipa Group, which has been a Wildschek supplier for many years, is taking over the company as part of the regulated succession of the previous owner, MErich Wildschek.
With a total of six retail and wholesale locations, Wildschek Lacke complements the existing distribution network of the Mipa Group in Austria. In combination with independent trade partners and the existing nine locations of the Mipa Group company Henelit, an even more comprehensive market coverage is created.
“This takeover allows us to be even closer to our customers in Austria and to serve them with high-quality products, first-class service and market-driven logistics,” said Markus Fritzsche, CEO of MIPA SE.
