Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development/Sales Manager to lead and grow our customer base while ensuring outstanding service to our clients in the Dalton, GA, and Trenton, NC areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify, prospect, and establish relationships with potential clients across industries, preferably OEM’s, including recreational and commercial sectors.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth and market expansion.
- Research industry trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities for hydrographic applications and finishing services.
- Manage the sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals and onboarding new clients.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to meet company and customer objectives.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
- Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Regularly meet with clients to review satisfaction, performance, and future opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and production, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Provide feedback to the technical team regarding market needs and potential product enhancements.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of sales staff as the team grows.
- Track and report on sales metrics, pipelines, and forecasts to management.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and recommend strategies for improvement.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in a manufacturing or finishing services environment.
- Understanding of injection molding, liquid painting of class A surfaces, hydrographic applications, film patterns, or product finishing processes (preferred but not required).
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into customer-friendly solutions.
- Willingness to travel regularly between Dalton, GA, and Trenton, NC, as well as to client locations as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
