ACT Test Panels was founded in 1981 to provide the paint and coatings industry with standardized metal test substrates. Today, ACT offers a variety of metal test panels made from cold and hot rolled steel, galvanized steel, and all aluminum alloys. Any of the above substrates may be produced with any coating layer including: phosphate or thin film pretreatment, electrocoat, prime and topcoat. ACT can provide customers with both generic test substrates or custom test substrates made with required coating layers.
