PPG PITT-CHAR NX epoxy passive fire protection coating meets the latest standards of fire protection for oil, gas and chemical installations, including cryogenic spills, explosions, jet fires and pool fires. It forms an effective insulating char at a lower thickness than traditional pool fire-only products, but still provides jet fire resistance of up to four hours for key structural elements, firewalls and critical process components.
