On November 3 the MNYCA (Metropolitan New York Coatings Association) held its Fall Technical Forum at Redd’s Restaurant in Carlstadt, NJ. Over 65 members and guests turned out to get current on the political, economic and regulatory conditions that are currently impacting the coatings industry. Speakers included Assemblyman, Gordon M. Johnson, Chairman of the Commerce and Economic Development Committee of New Jersey, Edward T. Waters, the Director of Government Affairs for the Chemistry Council of NJ, David Darling, P.E., the Managing Director of Health, Safety and Environment for the American Coatings Association and Joseph P. Paranac, Jr., Attorney at Law for LeClairRyan.
