Founded in 1985 as Kantara Paints and Chemical Industries, Kapci Coatings is Egypt’s largest paint and coatings manufacturer. The company is best known for its automotive refinish paints, which account for the majority of its revenue, with architectural/decorative paints and wood finishes splitting the rest.
Among Kapci’s major coating brands are the Kapci Prima range of auto refinish products, which was introduced in 2021; Dima water-based paints; Kapci mid-tier products; and Latico.
Kapci Coatings has two manufacturing sites in Port Said, Egypt, and another manufacturing facility in Bangalore, India, which Kapci opened in 2018. They have eight distribution branches across Egypt.
