Axalta was ranked in the top 30 at the Best Workplaces 2019 awards in Spain.
"We can be doubly proud of what we have achieved since not only were we recognized as a Great Place To Work in Spain in the first year that we were entered, but also we have been awarded a top 30 place, in the Best Workplaces 2019 in Spain," added Juan Antonio Rodríguez, Axalta HR leader for Spain, Portugal and Italy. "It is a clear, tangible indication that we are on the right track. This will only serve to encourage us to continue to achieve the excellence that our employees and our customers expect and deserve."
The Best Workplaces 2019 ranking is based on a study by Great Place To Work through the Trust Index survey, a questionnaire sent to all employees of the proposed company. The survey includes 60 questions and represents two thirds of the evaluation. Axalta’s survey showed that employees are proud of their work and consider Axalta a company that achieves its corporate goals thanks to committed people who work as one team, generating an environment of trust.
The remaining third of the assessment is the Culture Audit, which is a thorough analysis of the organization's culture through its HR practices and policies.
Axalta Spain was entered into the category of companies with between 50 and 500 employees.
The awards, held by Great Place To Work, were presented on March 6, 2019, during a special ceremony in Madrid, Spain.
By being shortlisted for these awards means that Axalta Spain is seen to be a company that values and looks after its own people, continually innovates to help increase the productivity of its customers and, by doing so, generates better customer experiences that build Axalta’s reputation.
Axalta carries out multiple initiatives in Spain designed specifically to achieve a good work environment, enhance autonomy and confidence in its people, improve internal communication and promote cultural diversity and integration of employees.
"It is an honor to receive this recognition and a testament to the hard work that Spain has put in over many years to help its employees feel integrated and valued," said Carmen Gonzalez, Asturias Centre leader and managing director for Axalta in Spain. "One of Axalta’s core values is to act as a united team, which enables us to deliver the very best for each other as well as for our customers. This acknowledgment will motivate us even more. "
