Rain Carbon Inc. will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new hydrogenated hydrocarbon resins production facility, which will serve as a cornerstone of the company’s Advanced Materials business segment.
Once the facility enters fully commercial operation following phased commissioning, it will have a resins production capacity of up to 50,000 tons per year, positioning the Castrop-Rauxel site as a leading producer of “water-white” resins that are in increasing demand by consumer- and industrial-goods manufacturers.
The Aug. 15 ribbon-cutting ceremony will include members of Rain Carbon’s executive leadership team, Castrop-Rauxel site management, elected officials and local dignitaries.
