AkzoNobel Vehicle Refinishes announced that Michelle Sullivan, strategic sales manager for AkzoNobel, received the Cornerstone Award from WIN during its Most Influential Women 2020 ceremony held online June 16, 2020.
The Cornerstone Award is presented annually by WIN to board members whose actions and contributions demonstrate an outstanding commitment to WIN’s mission and vision.
Sullivan is a past WIN Chair. According to WIN, she is a true leader of WIN and a strong advocate of WIN, increasing its membership during her tenure. During the past year, Sullivan has worked to redefine sponsor opportunities and benefits and has been a mentor to many women.
She served on the WIN executive committee and in leadership roles on many others, including the membership and sponsorship committees.
“I am grateful and humbled to receive this award,” Sullivan said. “Throughout my career, I have been in leadership positions that have allowed me to identify, advance and retain talent in the collision repair industry. We all have a responsibility to leave this industry better than we found it. The Women’s Industry Network provides a platform to do that in a broader capacity. I was honored to serve with the industry’s finest leaders and mentors.”
“Michelle’s commitment to the vehicle refinish industry is something that our customers experience every day. It’s wonderful to see the energy and dedication Michelle consistently displays being recognized nationally by the Women’s Industry Network," added Doug Holmberg, commercial director for AkzoNobel Automotive and Specialty Coatings - Americas.
