Biennial event will be held in Indianapolis, April 10-12.

The American Coatings Show and Conference will be held April 9-12 at the Indianapolis Convention Center in Indianapolis.

Held in partnership with the American Coatings Association (ACA) and Vincentz Network  – the organizer of the European Coatings Show and Conference – the American Coatings Show and Conference (ACS/ACC) is an exhibition and technical conference designed as a sister event to the European event. The conference is a three-day event providing a forum for the foremost scientific minds in the industry, featuring scientific papers and speakers. The show is a marketplace for presentation of products and services for the production of high-grade and competitive paint and coatings.

Coatings World interviewed a number of ACS exhibitors, who were looking forward to a successful event.

Evonik plans to showcase its depth of technical expertise and its strategic approach to coatings solutions, the “One partner. Many experts.” campaign. “This approach allows us to deliver integrated solutions to the paints and coatings industry,” said a spokesperson for Evonik Coating Additives. “We also plan to promote new products and technologies offered by our five participating business lines: Coating Additives, Crosslinkers, Coating and Adhesive Resins, Acrylic Monomers, and Functional Silanes.”

According to Jeff Carr, director, technical sales and marketing at Active Minerals, ACS is a great opportunity to see the coatings industry as a whole, learn more about its needs and what is influencing different market segments.

“In the process, we make meaningful new contacts that expand our customer relationships, develop new prospects and gain marketing and technical insights from other suppliers,” Carr continued.  “It is also an opportunity to gather our direct and distributor sales teams in one place and, using the energy of the show, have focused discussions about market trends and ways we can increase value to our customers. As a global company, we especially appreciate the international visitors and the opportunities they bring. “

Active Minerals International is sponsoring an exhibit at booth #764. “We look forward to meeting our customers, learning of their interests and needs, and sharing our new technical information,” said Carr. “In the past few years there has been a strong global demand for our Min-U-Gel attapulgite thixotropic thickeners and suspension agents.
