Go to Hall 1, Stand 1-509 to explore the world of BRB.

With an extensive experience in silicones, BRB International BV is one of the largest independent producers who has gained a unique supplier position in paint and coatings industry and silane.

At the European Coating Show 2019 in Nuremberg, BRB will showcase the following products:
  • BRB Siloen LA 271 is a glycol-modified silicone fluid designed as additive for ink and coating applications, especially suitable for solvent and radiation curing. BRB Siloen LA 271 provides excellent substrate wetting, levelling and anti-crater performances. It is compatible with the most common binders such as acrylic, alkyd, amide, epoxy, nitrocellulose, polyester, polyurethane and vinyl.
  • BRB Siloen SMA 284 is an 80% active dispersion of a high molecular weight silicone gum. It is designed as silicone additive for waterborne and solvent coatings providing excellent slip, mar resistance, gloss and anti-blocking effect. BRB Siloen SMA 284 is effective in waterborne, solvent-borne coatings at low addition level.
  • BRB Siloen SR 833 is a solventless, solvent thinnable alkoxy methyl silicone oligomer. It is suitable as ambient moisture cure binder for the manufacture of heat resistant coatings, in combination with suitable catalyst, pigments and fillers. BRB Siloen SR 833 can also be used as organic resin modifier to enhance water-repellency, weatherability as well as thermal resistance especially for water based organic resins.
  • BRB Siloen DBP 540 is a non-ionic, APEO free, solventless, water-thinnable, 54% solid aqueous emulsion of a silicone resin. It is used in masonry coating as co-binder with acrylic or styrene-acrylic dispersions to enhance water vapor and CO2 permeability, reduce water absorption and dirt pick-up.
  • BRB Silanil 919 HP is a reactive chemical containing an aminopropyl organic group and a triethoxysilyl inorganic group (CAS# number 919-30-2), it is designated as gamma-aminopropyltriethoxysilane chemically. Possessing both organic and inorganic reactivity, BRB Silanil 919 HP could react with organic resins and elastomers as well as with the surface of inorganic materials such as fiberglass and silica fillers. BRB Silanil 919 HP dissolve immediately in water to form a clear alkaline solution without pH adjustment. It provides very good stability in aqueous solution and acts as an effective coupling agent to modify functional groups on glass filaments when using during sizing process.
  • BRB Silanil 150 is a reactive chemical containing a propyl (CH3CH2-) organic group and a trimethoxysilyl inorganic group (CAS# number 1067-25-0). It can be used as hydrophobizing agent to treat mineral fillers and pigments. The alkyl chain of propyl group is able to improve compatibility between mineral fillers and organic polymers in applications of coatings, adhesives, and plastics providing greater dispersion, higher filler loading, better mechanical properties and also lower water uptake.
