Two family-run, regional paint operations have announced plans to merge.
Rodda Paint, based in Portland, OR, and Cloverdale Paint Inc. (CPI), based in Canada, will combine operations. According to a statement released by both organizations, when merged, the company will operate as Rodda in the U.S. and Cloverdale in Canada and units will be managed by existing personnel.
CPI currently has 65 branches in western Canada and Washington state in the U.S. It has four manufacturing facilities in Canada and employs 650 workers.
Rodda, which has 350 employees, operates 41 stores in Washington, Oregon, northern Idaho and Alaska and has a manufacturing site in Portland.
