Barbot, the fourth largest paint manufacturer in Portugal, has made plans to open a factory in Angola by the end of the year, with an annual production capacity of approximately one million liters of paint.
Market turnover of up to €2 million is expected in the first year for the factory, according to the company. The new factory will require an investment of approximately $1 million to transer machinery from factories in Portugal.
According to Barbot, the Angolan paint market is worth approximately €20 million per year.
