Pulte Homes, Inc., one of the nation's largest homebuilders, has signed a five-year agreement with The Sherwin-Williams Company as its exclusive provider of paint products. Financial terms of the agreement were not released.
In its search, Pulte looked for an exclusive paint provider that could provide greater value and quality to its homebuyers, as well as one that exemplified service excellence and national brand leadership. According to the company, Sherwin- Williams offered all that. Sherwin-Williams' AccuTouch technology and its breadth of products will provide Pulte with customized products that help reduce call backs, control labor costs and provide homebuyers with a long-lasting finish.
"Our decision to partner with Sherwin-Williams was based largely on the fact that they match up very well with our supply chain objectives and with our unwavering commitment to deliver the very best quality and value to our homebuyers," said Reginald C. McCoy, national vice president, Supply Chain and Purchasing, Pulte Homes. "They have the leading brand in their industry and they are very customer service oriented. Those are two traits we share in common."
