Lord Corporation launches Autoseal 3500

Lord Corporation has launched Autoseal 3500 coating, an aqueous, low-gloss coating designed for use on dense EPDM glass run channel applications where a high degree of abrasion resistance is needed. Lord Autoseal 3500 has excellent functional abrasion resistance, is chemically resistant and has a low sheen and smooth appearance. This coating also offers a low coefficient of friction. It was developed in response to the need of a weatherstrip supplier seeking to switch from conventional solvent coatings to an environmentally-preferred product to meet 2009 HAPs and VOC regulation compliance.
