BASF Coatings has recieved a General Motors' Supplier of the Year Award for 2008. The Supplier of the Year Award recognizes BASF for outstanding performance as a global supplier of OEM coatings. It is the fifth time in seven years that BASF has received this award. Kurt Bock, chairman and CEO of BASF Corp. ration , accepted the award on behalf of BASF during GM's 17th annual "Best of the Best" recognition ceremony on June 5 at the GM Heritage Center in Sterling Heights, MI.
