BYK Additives & Instruments will feature new wetting and dispersing additives at booth E2E15-20 during CHINACOAT 2009. DISPERBYK-2008 is used for high-solids and solvent-free coatings. It has the following characteristics: excellent deflocculation, orientation and stabilization of matting agents; makes formulation of low-gloss coatings even with standard matting agents possible; provides compatibility with surface-treated and untreated matting agents; tailor-made for silica-based matting agents; only low additive dosage levels required for high performance.

DISPERBYK-2155 is used for solvent-free and solventborne systems. It has the following characteristics: 100% high solids, VOC-free; flowability and high molecular weight at the same time; good millbase viscosity reduction; no yellowing in baking systems; no impact on drying time of 2-pack systems; wide compatibility.

DISPERBYK-2015 is used for waterborne systems. Characteristics: VOC-free; excellent compatibility in a wide range of waterborne resin systems; improves gloss and reduces haze; strong reduction of millbase viscosity allows high pigment loadings; for organic and inorganic pigments.
