Tennant Company, a manufacturer of surface maintenance equipment and coatings, has opened a state-of-the-art Coatings Technical Center. The 10,000-square foot facility allows Tennant Company to focus more aggressively on its coatings business, which offers one of the industry's widest ranges of floor coatings solutions.

"We are excited to have a facility dedicated to the development and testing of new and existing Tennant coatings as well as to contractor and sales representative training," said Mickey Gubman, coatings group director with Tennant Company. "This facility demonstrates Tennant Company's continued commitment to coatings and to providing products that protect and enhance floors and surfaces in a variety of industrial and commercial settings."

According to Gubman, a full 7,000-square feet of the Coatings Technical Center is dedicated to product testing on a variety of substrates, including concrete, VCT and terrazzo. In addition, the facility includes a dust-free sample production room, a technologically advanced conference room, and office space.

Tennant's Coatings Technical Center is located just two miles from Tennant Company's headquarters.
