Elementis is relocating approximately 125 employees from its existing, New Jersey headquarters. The $10 million interior build-out of Elementis’ space at SciPark is planned to begin in April 2011, and the firm expects to take occupancy during the first quarter of 2012.
SciPark is designed to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards. Sustainable “green” elements being incorporated into the development include certified construction waste management, the use of low emitting materials including adhesives, paints and carpet, sophisticated lighting and HVAC design focused on controllability of systems by users, reflecting white roof, water efficient landscaping, alternative transportation focused on bicycle racks and showers for tenant employee use.
