Sono-Tek Corporation will be hosting a free one-day seminar in Irvine, CA on May 18, 2011 for coating professionals in the medical device, glass and textile coatings, and food safety/food packaging industries. The seminar will be held at the Marriott Irvine, 18000 Von Karman Avenue, Irvine, CA. Ultrasonic coating specialists from Sono-Tek will discuss ultrasonic nozzle theory and best practices for achieving optimal coatings with Sono-Tek ultrasonic nozzles. Specific topics will include nozzle design, coating process variables and challenges, operating principles, liquid delivery solutions, and new ultrasonic coating technology.
Non-clogging ultrasonic coating technology features up to 80% reduction in spray material, increased uniformity, significant savings in water and energy usage, reduction in exhaust requirements, and reduced maintenance compared to pressure nozzle or air atomizer technology, according to the company.
