Active Minerals International (AMI) announced effective January 1, 2012, Van Horn, Metz and Company will expand their responsibilities in AMI’S network of specialty chemical distributors in North America. Van Horn Metz will now also represent Active Minerals in Ohio and West Virginia with their full line of Min‐U‐Gel and Acti‐Gel specialty attapulgite mineral‐based thickeners and suspension products to the paint, coatings, plastics, rubber, adhesive, asphalt, inks and other specialty markets.
