Effective March 1, 2012 or as contracts allow, Coatex, Inc. will increase the list and off-list selling prices of its thickener and dispersant product lines sold to the coatings market for the NAFTA region. Acrylic-based dispersants will increase $0.05 per pound; acrylic-based thickeners will increase $0.04 per pound; and all other products will increase $0.03 per pound. The company said this increase is necessary to respond to increasing raw material costs needed to manufacture its product lines.
