Effective March 15, 2012 or as contracts allow, Arkema Coating Resins will increase pricing on all solventborne and powder coating resins sold in North America. Chempol acrylics, alkyds, polyesters and oils will increase by $0.06 to $0.12 per pound. Reafree polyester powder resins will increase by $0.06 to $0.08 per pound. The company said this action is necessary due to escalation in the cost of raw materials and transportation for solventborne and powder products.
