Ashland Specialty Ingredients, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc., is increasing the price of its portfolio of intermediates and specialty solvents sold in Europe effective April 1, or as contracts allow. Prices for 1,4 Butanediol (BDO) and its derivatives Tetrahydrofuran (THF) and N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone (NMP) will increase by 14 eurocents per kg.
