Powder characterization company Freeman Technology (Tewkesbury, UK) has announced significant expansion into Asia with the appointment of Nishil Malde as general manager for Asia Pacific.
Malde, who joined Freeman Technology in June 2012, is responsible for the company’s business in Asia Pacific, providing support for distribution partners in the region. He brings extensive sales and channel management experience in international markets as well as technical expertise and understanding of a wide variety of materials testing methodologies and applications.
Also supporting the establishment of the FT4 Powder Rheometer in China is material scientist and product manager for China, Xiaowei Fu, who will be based in Shanghai. Fu is moving back to China from the UK, having already worked for Freeman Technology for five years. Customers in China will benefit from his experience with the FT4 Powder Rheometer and wealth of powder characterization expertise.
