The theme of the opening ceremony was “Getting Bigger – Staying Flexible.”
ILAG, a leading provider for non-stick coatings for cookware, bakeware and technical applications, produced for more than a half century at the Lachen, Switzerland facility.
Approximately 18 million Swiss Francs were invested to build the new facility. Particular attention has been paid to the provision of attractive working conditions and to the new building’s ecological credentials, according to the company. The new facility meets the highest standards in terms of the safety and ergonomics of the workplaces it provides, as well as energy efficiency. The eco-friendly building technology incorporated into the new Wangen facility will cut ILAG’s annual carbon dioxide emissions by some 100 tons.
