WILMINGTON, Del. – Ashland Specialty Ingredients, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH), is increasing the price of its portfolio of intermediates and specialty solvents sold in North America effective April 1, or as contracts allow. Prices for 1,4 Butanediol (BDO) and its derivatives Tetrahydrofuran (THF), N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone (NMP), and Gamma-Butyrolactone (BLO) will increase by 5 cents per pound.
