Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine Coatings has launched a YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/user/SherwinWilliamsPMC) to share helpful videos covering company product and service offerings. The channel expands the division’s social media presence and offers a new way to share how Sherwin-Williams helps protect assets around the globe.
The Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine Coatings YouTube channel will feature videos related to a wide array of markets, including: food and beverage; water and wastewater; oil, gas, and chemicals; marine; rail; power; flooring; bridge and highway; and fire protection.
Current videos include case studies covering high-profile projects to protect the Chesapeake Bay Bridge from corrosion, as well as several of London’s landmark buildings from fire. The channel also features demonstration videos showcasing the company’s Heat-Flex® 3500 insulative coating and Anti-Graffiti Coating products.
“The power of video content is unquestionable. It’s one thing to explain how a product like our Anti-Graffiti Coating works, for example, but it’s so much more impactful to show how easily graffiti washes off a wall coated with the product,” said Doni Riddle, Vice President Marketing, Sherwin-Williams Protective and Marine Coatings. “Seeing is believing, and our aim with the YouTube channel is to bring more of our stories to life to help others learn about our capabilities.”
