AkzoNobel promotes Steve Grant to sales manager – paint, North America

Steve Grant has assumed the position of sales manager – paint, North America for the
performance additives business unit of Akzo Nobel Functional Chemicals LLC. He will be responsible for the Bermocoll cellulose ethers and Bermodol rheology modifiers working with the company's major paint customers in the region. Grant will work out of the Brewster, N.Y., office and report to Joe Palmer, commercial manager – US and Canada, with direct business link to Kees
Schmalz, global business director – paint. Grant has been with AkzoNobel for almost seven years starting in customer service and most recently having responsibility for the Bermocoll and Bermodol distribution sales in North America.
