Resinate Materials Group, a supplier of resins to the paints, coatings, adhesives and sealants market, has expanded its research and development team through the addition of Mathew Brown and Kyle McGrath. The new additions are part of Resinate’s multi-year growth plan to create an integrated chemical resin company based on the organization’s mantra of providing “sustainable resins at stable prices,” according to the company. To date in 2012, Resinate has added 15 full and part time employees to its payroll which recently included the hiring of Dan Seyer as vice president of research and development.
Brown most recently worked for Dow where he was responsible for formulating and testing industrial polyurethane coatings for wood and metal substrates. At Resinate, he will be a key player in the organization’s synthesis, formulation, physical testing and scale up activities. McGrath has experience working with GC and analytical chemistry. He will work with laboratory staff on developing new polyurethane dispersion formulations.
