Degussa Corporation: Bernd Pfeiffer

Degussa Corporation: The company announced that Bernd Pfeiffer has been named vice president and general manager of the advanced fillers and pigments business unit. Mr. Pfeiffer is responsible for production and sales of carbon black, precipitated silica and rubber silanes throughout North America.
Prior to joining Degussa Corp., Mr. Pfeiffer was the general manager of precipitated silica and organosilanes at Degussa AG, Frankfurt, Germany, where he managed the production and sale of these materials on a global basis.
Degussa Corporation also announced Bruce Seeber as the new general manager of resins within the company’s coatings and colorants business unit. Mr. Seeber’s duties include managing all activities of the resins business line in the NAFTA region, as well as developing, implementing and managing the strategic goals and overall profitability of the resins business line in accordance with Degussa’s global strategy.
Mr. Seeber most recently held the position of national sales manager, methacrylate monomers and polymers in Degussa’s ROHM America division.
