impact and wear resistance that are
durable under wide range of conditions
have been patented in Europe
by 3M Innovative Properties.
The coatings are obtained from
easily-handled quick-drying compositions
that include c polyfunctional
ethylenically unsaturated polymer
(polyurethane, polyurea or
polyurethane urea), preferably containing
polycarbonate and/or polyester
segments and a segment derived
from polyol or secondary polyamide
chain extender. They also contain
(meth)acryloyl functional monomer.
An application process and marked
surfaces are claimed in this patent.
