Degussa: Timothy McCarthy

Degussa: The company announced
that Timothy McCarthy has been promoted
to the position of applications
manager. Working within the company’s
Aerosil and silanes business unit,
he is now responsible for the development
of fumed metal oxide-based
aqueous dispersion technology. Prior
to serving as applications manager,
Dr. McCarthy was a senior scientist at
Degussa. He has been with the company
since 1986.
The company also announced Cas
Kleczko as the new marketing manager
for precoated metals in the
resins business line. As marketing
manager, Mr. Kleczko is responsible
for promoting the unit’s Dynapol and
Vesticoat product lines to the coil and
can coatings industries in the
NAFTA region.
