● Liquid Plastics Inc. celebrated the grand opening of its new North
American manufacturing headquarters in royal fashion. The celebration
included a dedication ceremony for the 25,000-sq.ft.
building, located in in Middletown, CT, by H.R.H. The Duke of
York CVO, ADC, Prince Andrew.
Prince Andrew traveled from England to dedicate the building
to mark the company’s relationship with Liquid Plastics
Ltd. of Preston, Lancashire, England.
“Since my father founded Liquid Plastics Ltd. in 1963, the
company has grown into a world leader in the development of
high-performance structural protective systems,” said M. Jeremy
Gorick, managing director of Liquid Plastics Limited. “We are
proud of our accomplishments and look forward to working with
Liquid Plastics Inc. to expand our market in the Americas.”
Liquid Plastics Inc., a member of the Iotech Group, manufactures protective coatings and repair
materials under the Decothane, Decadex and Steridex banners. Coca-Cola, Ford, McDonald’s, NASA
and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers use its products, according to the company. ●
