PPG INdustries: Michel A. Ludlow

announced that Michael A. Ludlow,
vice president, industrial coatings, has
been appointed senior vice president,
original equipment manufacturing
(OEM) coatings.
Automotive, industrial, packaging,
European and light industrial
coatings and aerospace products
will report to Mr. Ludlow in his new
role. He has been with the company
since 1974.
PPG Industries also announced a
series of new management assignments.
J. Rich Alexander, general
manager, general industrial coatings,
has been appointed vice president,
industrial coatings.
Kathleen A. McGuire, vice president,
silicas, has been appointed vice president,
purchasing and distribution.
Amy F. Molenda, general auditor, has
been appointed general manager, silicas.
In addition, PPG announced that
Kevin F. Sullivan, vice president,
fiberglass, has been appointed vice
president, chemicals. PPG’s chloralkali
and derivatives, optical products,
silicas and fine chemicals business
units will report to Mr. Sullivan.
He has been with PPG since 1973.
