NoFire Technologies: This maker of
high-performance, water-based fire
retardant coatings and systems
announced that Rear Admiral William
Retz, USN (Ret.) has taken the position
of director of military and maritime
affairs and has resigned as CEO and
director. Radm. Retz, who had served
as CEO since Sept. 2000, requested the
reassignment to redirect his focus on
marketing and promotion of NoFire
products for maritime and military
applications. Samuel Gottfried, NFTI’s
president, has been appointed CEO to
replace Radm. Retz
